The Columbus Day Activity Center is the home-base for all of our recreation and leisure activities and offers supervised care for individuals. Our clients participate in structured activities, such as community-based outings, arts and music therapy, seasonal events, and exercise.
The Columbus’s Residential Services include three levels of support that can help make this transition easier and more successful for both participants and their families. They include: residential homes, supervised apartments ,and a supported living program.
Columbus Community Employment programs provide effective coordinated vocational supports that result in job placements for individuals with disabilities.
This program provides pre-employment transition services to students with disabilities, ages 14-21. Every program participant will work one-on-one with a Pre-Employment Transition Specialist to explore the student’s career interests.
NextWork focuses on the strengths and interests expressed by our clients on the autism spectrum. Our most popular program is NeuroVersity. It was founded by Drs. Scott and Cheryl Wright to help youth with autism develop talents to find technology jobs.
This Program assists people with disabilities to find meaningful employment in local communities. Participants are integrated into community employment settings.
